On June 29, 2022, the 7th China Local AMC Forum & Release Conference of White Paper on China's Local Asset Management Industry (2021) was held in Qingdao. The results of the annual selection were announced at the forum. Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SSAM) won the "2021 China Local AMC Contribution Award" and the "2021 China Local AMC Management Excellence Award".
Directed by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission and local financial regulatory departments, under the strong leadership of SIG, SSAM focused on its primary business: non-performing assets management, and was committed to maintaining regional financial stability and serving the development of the real economy. SSAM stood out after preliminary assessment by the expert committee, mutual assessment by member entities and voting by the jury, representing the local AMC industry's recognition of SSAM's development model and business capacity. With winning the award as an opportunity, SSAM will stay true to its aspiration and founding mission, and proceed with non-performing assets acquisition and disposal in the way of marketization, under a legal principle and by specialized means, thereby enhancing its role in dissolving regional financial risks.
