According to the annual study plan set by the CPC SIG committee Center Group and in response to the Education on the Two Studies, One Action Initiative, on October 12 afternoon, SIG has held by the study session, inviting Mr. Chen Hong, secretary of CPC SAIC Committee and Chairman of SAIC to give a lecture on the theme of “Guided by Dreams, Achieve Innovation and the Past, Present and Future of Automobile Industry”. The Center Group Study was held by Mr. Shen Jun, CPC Party Chief and Chairman of SIG, and joined by 90 attendees of the session include party and executive members, assistant-heads and above managed by CPC SIG Committee, SIG staff and executives from subsidiaries.
Based on the general condition and operation practice of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, Mr. Chen Hong delivered a speech that is a substantial, informative and professional, which gave insights into the four trends in the automobile industry, namely, electricity-driven, access to Internet, artificial intelligence, online data sharing. The lecture provided SIG members with much industry insights on the development and transformation of automobile industry as well as the Shanghai Automotive Industry Cooperation.
Mr. Shen Jun noted that the report by Mr. Cheng Hong is very comprehensive and detailed, which demonstrate the spirit of pragmatism，and it is a report abstracted from practices，which demonstrate the spirit of reform， and it is an exciting report, which demonstrate the spirit of technological innovation, and it is an inspirational report which demonstrate the spirit of exploration; it is a promising report which demonstrate the spirit of market competition; it is a Society-serving report, which demonstrate the spirit to put human first. He specifically noted that SIG members should put much emphasis on learning from these six spirits of SAIC while thoroughly comprehend the spirit carried in the keynote speech by Secretary-General Xi Jinpin on Party Building Meeting of China`s SOEs, and that SIG members should persistently be exploring, innovating, making breakthroughs so as to make SOEs stronger and better, opening a new phase of SIG`s reform and development.
